Samantha is a Los Angeles native, originally from the San Fernando Valley. At five years old, she was cast as Mary Poppins' umbrella in the musical Mary Poppins, and hasn't stopped Singin' In The Rain since. She is a trained actor, singer, improviser, and percussionist.


Last year, Samantha traveled to Anchorage, Alaska with the ensemble cast of the sold-out run of "The Sound of Music," and co-starred in the new contemporary musical "Goosebumps The Musical." She's also received the honor of being nominated by for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Bridget Sullivan in "LIZZIE: The Musical," and starred as the Baker's Wife in's Best Local Musical of 2019 "Into the Woods." She has also been awarded for her Luisa in The Fantasticks (Ellen Albertini Dow Award for Outstanding Performance), and nominated for her role in the thriller short film Here Be Monsters (Best Supporting Actress). She's also placed as a Top 5 Finalist in the LA's Next Great Stage Star competition presented by Princess Cruises. 


Samantha has performed in numerous regional theatre productions, short and feature films, concerts, and commercials. When she has a day off, she can be found hosting the Drunk History inspired YouTube series "Boozey Broadway," as well as on iTunes as host of the TV/Film review and comedy podcast "Latest & Greatest with Sam Labrecque."
